Set within a frame inspired by the Gothic Architecture of Medieval Venice, a tribute to John William Waterhouse.
A hand-carved and sculpted frame echoes the romantic arches of the city. Cast in recycled sterling, antiqued with the deep patinas of age, The Lady of Shalott ~ by John William Waterhouse found image set under hand-cut water glass and tiny shards of mica found here at Frog Hollow & Ringville. On the back- hand-painted / pyrography infinity symbol and crown on textured birch bark. (birch is sealed for preservation, but please keep dry)
Adorned with a faceted moonstone bead, pendant measures @ 3/4 of an inch at widest, @ 1 7/8 inches long including bead. Pendant hangs on an 18-inch oxidized sterling silver chain.
