Inspired by the iconography of a sacred, burning heart.
A hand-carved and sculpted frame heart and stylized flames. Cast in recycled bronze with an antiqued patina, set with found image ephemera - detail from the Lady & the Unicorn Tapestries of the Cluny Museum depicting Sight - under textured glass. Backed with antiqued and painted birch bark with a pyrography flower. (sealed for preservation, but please keep dry) Adorned with a vintage glass bead.
