Set within a frame inspired by the Gothic Architecture of Medieval Venice, a tribute to John William Waterhouse, Nature.
A hand-carved and sculpted frame echoes the romantic arches of the city. Cast in recycled bronze, antiqued with the deep patinas of age, The Shrine ~ by John William Waterhouse Found image set with shards of mica found here at Frog Hollow & Ringville under glass.
On the back, a closer view through frosted glass.
Adorned with strawberry quartz, the shrine amulet measures @ 3/4 of an inch at widest, @ 1 3/4 inches long including bead. Pendant hangs on an 18-inch bronze/brass chain.
