Set within a frame inspired by the Gothic Architecture of Medieval Venice, a tribute to Edward Burne-Jones, Morris & Co & Nature.


A hand-carved and sculpted frame echoes the romantic arches of the city. Cast in recycled bronze, antiqued with the deep verdigris patinas of age, Hope ~ a stained glass window by Edward Burne-Jones / Morris & Co. found image set under hand-cut iridescent water glass. 

Textured, painted & sealed birch bark on the back, found here at Frog Hollow. Adorned with a faceted burnt prehnite bead, the hope amulet measures @ 3/4 of an inch at widest, @ 1 3/4 inches long. Pendant hangs on a 20-inch antiqued bronze/brass chain, can be worn shorter.
