Inspired by the Miracle Windows of the Trinity Chapel in Canterbury Cathedral
Antiqued bronze frame set with a found image/ephemera featuring a tiny bird from Morris & Co's The Garden Tapestry or the Tree of Life (detail) under textured glass and adorned with peridot & tourmaline.
This necklace is double-sided, the back features flowers taken from the same tapestry in pyrography~ hand-burnt onto birch bark from Frog Hollow with hand-painted and pencil-colored details. (sealed for preservation, but please keep dry).
A tribute to the sweet pine siskin that was released after hitting our windows here at @frog_hollow. We use our own d.i.y. version of acopian bird savers, but something scattered and panicked them in all directions, leading to a hard strike. A heartbreaking sound. Gathered up and brought to our lovely neighbor who is a wildlife rehabber, we got to bring them home a few days later and release them back into the yard.

Pendant hangs on a wire-wrapped bead chain with rough nugget tourmaline & peridot and two antiqued bronze clover connectors, measuring from 16 1/2 - 20 1/2 inches (including a 4-inch extender chain).
