A stylized lily flower, seen in ornamentation (and in heraldic art) as an ode to nobility. Set with jewel-toned hues favored by the Medieval stained glass artists back in the 12th century for an adornment that pays tribute to the architectural beauty of centuries past.
Carved & cast in mixed metals with antiqued, layered patinas of age ~ the arch frame is bronze, the Fleur detail is sterling silver. Garnet glass is set within the back of the frame using a mosaic grouting technique.
Pendant is just over @1 inches at widest, @1 1/4 inches long.
Antiqued brass/bronze chain measures @18 inches long, accented with garnet beads.
