where women create

Stacks of this magazine have been in my "daydreaming" piles, collected and referenced over the years to find ideas and organization for the studios I have inhabited over the past two decades.
Well, I am so completely honored to let you know that I am in the newest issue, and such a special one at that! What humbling company I am in - Where Women Create – Fall 2025 – Special Expanded Issue "Our Favorite Spaces - Inspiring Work Spaces of Extraordinary Women"
When I saw that the issue had arrived in my post office box, I was glad that our sweet rural post office/corner store had a little garden park and picnic table, so I could immediately have a look at a dream come true before driving home.
Truth be told, I had some terrible anxiety arranging and photographing my space for this. Like so many others, I tend to be weighed down with imposter syndrome and worried about every aspect of my submission. Now that it is out in the world, I can just let go and try to be proud to have achieved one of the goals I set out for myself many years ago (and to not worry about the many "what if's" or "should have's" that I had ruminated on.) The published 14 pages (!!) capture where I am at now in my little one-person business- details about my working space, a bit of where I have been, and most importantly- who has helped me along the way. My story so far.
Thank you for being a part of it here and helping the story of Parrish Relics continue.
Hope you can pick up this issue (or better yet, subscribe!) - so much beauty, creativity, and heart within the pages.
